ADAS AUTOSAR Engineer

Our UK location based out of the West Midlands, is looking for an ADAS adaptive AUTOSAR engineer to join our team collaborating on an advanced ECU software development and integration for autonomous driving with one of our global clients.

Responsibilities

  • The role is to be responsible for adaptive AUTOSAR specification and software architecture for the development and integration of the ECU for advanced autonomous driving
  • System development to support on ECU integration into prototypes
  • Align with corresponding stakeholders of the ECU
  • Hardware, Software, Electronics, Testing, etc. for the definition and maintenance of requirements
  • Manage and maintain the ECU requirements in DOORs and participate in partner ECU development processes and highlight the deviations
  • Support on creating test case catalogs for ECU functions and coordinate the activities with the testing team for integration and analysis of software modules
  • Support on checking and reviewing the requirements fulfilment during different software releases and define software interfaces together with those responsible for the modules
  • Create integration reports regularly and measure the degree of maturity of the integration of the entire ECU.
  • Support on the definition, implementation and maintenance of processes related to the function (e.g. SPICE, ISO26262)
  • Analysis, definition and implementation of supporting tools and scripts necessary for achieving project goals

 

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in either systems, software, computer science, electrical or comparable field. In additional to this you will need to meet the following requirement:
  • Plus 3 years of professional experience with embedded software and its implementation
  • Broad experience in the automotive sector with a strong understanding of a vehicle systems and the communication standards
  • Experience in classic and or adaptive AUTOSAR software design and development
  • Familiar with ISO 26262 road vehicle functional safety standards, software development requirements are preferred
  • Ability to solve complex problems with an independent and proactive way of working
  • Experienced in, programming languages C / C ++, 3 years plus of development experience on Linux System, Familiar with POSIX Operating system is preferred and requirements tool DOORs
  • Ability to work from our Warwick office following Covid restrictions being lifted (Flexibility to work from home still on some days)
  • And most importantly, you are a team player, you are open-minded and have a positive approach to challenges
